Now run by the third generation of the Morris family, Charles Morris has built a reputation for quality and professionalism over more than 65 years.
We operate two depots in west London, serving national and local customers in the industrial, commercial and demolition sectors, and also supply products directly to the public.
Our customers come to us because they know we are commercially-driven and environmentally-focused, with a commitment to solutions that divert waste from landfill.
With a fleet of collection vehicles in operation and a comprehensive material recycling facility offering segregation and separation facilities, we deliver the full spectrum of waste management services.
We also offer a wide range of recovered products, including topsoils and primary aggregates, recycled aggregates and recycled materials.
We are licensed to process 376,680 tonnes of waste a year, from which w currently recover and recycle over 75% of materials – and aim to increase this to 100% using new, emerging technologies - treating them not as waste but as a resource. By comparison, Government Landfill Directive targets for local authority waste recovery is 45% by 2010.
Every year, as a symbol of our commitment to environmentally sound waste management, we plant trees on our sites – at least one for every 500 tonnes of waste we process. We also play a role in our local community through charitable donations: in 2010 we helped Shortwood School pupils travel to 10 Downing Street to deliver a petition against the school’s closure, and in 2009 we supported the Stanwell Moor Town Hall appeal and loaned High Wycombe Lions a vehicle for their Christmas Float.
